She reminds us that we have only one Mediator, Jesus, but that because our hearts can be deceitful, there is wisdom in the counsel of many. As we hear God for ourselves, good leaders will not make decisions for us but will provide wise counsel and will teach us to grow in following Jesus and having our own relationship with Him.
