SERIES
Deacons Training
ABOUT THE SERIES
In the Deacons Training series, we cover a range of topics to provide help and insight for deacons as they work together with the elders in leading God’s people. It is aimed at equipping deacons with both the practical insight and tools to effectively serve and lead within their local congregations.
Who is the series for?
The Deacons Training is intended for those that both currently fulfil the role of a deacon within the local church body and those that desire to serve within this leadership role. The short videos are designed to promote further reflection and group discussion where appropriate. For this reason, we recommend watching them in small groups or as a leadership team.
The series is accompanied by a downloadable workbook for facilitators and those working through the series.
Apostles lay the foundations, but in many ways deacons are like pillars in the church – providing strength and support.
