In this session, Andrew explains with reference to the Scriptures that the nature of God is to be humble. Even within the Godhead itself, each person (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) exists to honour and glorify the other. As image-bearers of Christ, we are to reflect what God is like by being humble. If we are humble as God Himself is humble, He will lift us up and invite us to share His throne of glory – but if we strive and have pride in our hearts, God will oppose us and not share His glory with us. Understanding the humility of God, has radical implications for how we see God, and how we see ourselves and our roles as men and women in the Kingdom of God. Andrew challenges us to not be corrupted by the spirit of the age, but to go low and reflect the values of the Kingdom and the nature of God Himself.
