There is nothing more exhilarating to the human heart than the revelation of Jesus. When Jesus asked Peter “Who do you say I am?”, it was God the Father who revealed to Peter that Jesus was the Messiah. It is on this very revelation of who Jesus is, that He will build His Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Jesus must remain everything to us – all our love and affection focused on Him, and our hearts overflowing with the revelation of Him.

In this beautiful time together, Mervis van der Merwe takes us on a journey, much like the two men on the road to Emmaus, to truly see Jesus for who He is so that we too can say: “Didn’t our hearts burn within us?”
