01 What is the Prophetic
In this introductory video to the Prophecy for All series, Melanie du Toit, gives insight into understanding the prophetic. She begins by explaining the nature of hearing the voice of God for ourselves (John 10:27), the starting point before moving on to hearing God for others. To facilitate learning, Melanie gives us a short activation exercise to stir up the gift of prophecy.
Melanie serves as a deacon in Joshua Generation Church, South Africa. She spent two years in the mission field after her studies and now works as an artist. She has a passion to use the gifts of the Spirit to train and encourage God’s people.
