02 God Loves Music
The Bible is full of music and singing, but for more than half the time the church has existed, the use of instruments in church was rejected. We discuss the place of singing, music and instruments in our corporate worship, how to avoid manipulation and rather glorify God.
Adam serves on the eldership team of King and Saints Church in Australia and has been in ministry since 1997. He has been married to Vanessa since 1999, and they have two sons. Adam’s particular passions are teaching and worship.
Mervis is a saint within Joshua Generation Church, South Africa. He is married to Sonja and they have three children. He has degrees in ministry and psychology and can often be found seeking and blessing the Father’s heart through his gift of music.
Schalk serves on the eldership team of Joshua Generation Church, South Africa, and has a degree in theology. He married Ingrid in 2018 and is a proud father. He has been in full-time ministry since 2023.
