In the first instalment of this series, Michael d’Offay, Shaun Brauteseth and Daniel Barnard dive into the origin story of the Apostle, starting with Jesus – who was the original Apostle sent by God. They move on to discuss the unique calling of the Apostle Paul, alongside the original twelve appointed by Jesus. Explaining the difference in the role of the pre- and post-ascension apostle, they highlight the important, and scriptural, need we still have for the gift of the apostle in the present-day church.
