Rescued to Rescue Others

The world around us is filled with people who are lost and separated from God – are we responding to their distress signal? Having received the message of reconciliation ourselves, we now have a responsibility to carry the gospel to others. Here, Daniel Barnard reminds us that Jesus moved intentionally towards people outside of His followers’ comfort zones – interrupting their schedules and crossing boundaries to go where others might not. In the same way, our homes, workplaces, and neighbourhoods are opportunities to share the gospel. We have all been rescued – not to become passengers, but to become rescuers ourselves.
