Stay Awake and Pray
Are you feeling tired, sorrowful, or unsure of what God is doing? The way to stand firm in a season of testing is not to rely on our own strength – it is to kneel in prayer and receive strength from God. Jesus met anguish in Gethsemane by turning to the Father, and He instructed His disciples to pray so they would not give in to temptation (Luke 22:39-44). Here, Gerrit Loots points us to the peace, truth, and faithfulness of Jesus, who promises His presence and prays for His people.
