01 Pay Careful Attention

Elders are fathers in the house, and what they do and how they do it will affect the children in their care. Andrew starts by saying that we all tend to drift into comfort and convenience if we aren’t paying attention, and what worked yesterday won’t work today or tomorrow. He urges the elders to “Pay careful attention to yourselves” (Acts 30:38) first, to check that they are in Him and reflecting Him correctly, and then “to the flock”.
