03 God’s Priorities
What we know as the New Testament church was not an afterthought for God—His plans are eternal. In this discussion, Mike Davies speaks to Luke Watson and Mervis van der Merwe about how the tabernacle’s design reflects God’s plan for His church, as described in Acts 2:42. We are reminded of God’s unchanging nature, and that the principles and patterns He laid out remain, even though they might look different in style. Today, we are His temple, a people built together for His presence to dwell within us.
Luke serves as an elder in Joshua Generation Church. He is married to Elaine, and they have five children. He is passionate about helping others step into God’s calling for them.
Mervis is a saint within Joshua Generation Church, South Africa. He is married to Sonja and they have three children. He has degrees in ministry and psychology and can often be found seeking and blessing the Father’s heart through his gift of music.
Mike serves on eldership within Joshua Generation Church, South Africa. He is married to Chantal, and they have two daughters. He loves to see people equipped to effectively serve the Kingdom of God through teaching and writing.
