What Is Good Bible Teaching?
What does a biblical sermon look like? In this session, Andrew Selley and Luke Hulley examine different styles of preaching, challenge common misconceptions, and consider how faithful, Spirit-led teaching equips God’s people. Together, they explore what Scripture and church history reveal about preaching, testing modern assumptions against biblical patterns. Looking at the Talmudic style of teaching in early Judaism, they uncover valuable insights into engaging people with God’s Word. They also discuss how careful preparation and dependence on the Holy Spirit work together to strengthen and equip the church.
This session is part of the #BeEquipped series – conversations about current issues facing the church. Explore more thought-provoking messages from this series.
