Dying to Live

August, 2022

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. – Matthew 10 v 37-39

Andrew Selley, the apostolic leader of Four12, shares an impactful message about surrender (dying to live), encouraging believers to lay their lives down, dying with Christ, so that they can also live with Him. Andrew speaks about the endless things we can give our lives to in this world, but also how these things are all temporary and will not last forever. He explains that ultimately as followers of Jesus, we need to follow Jesus’ example and find the everlasting life that can only be found in Him.

Keeping Matthew 10 in mind, Andrew encourages viewers to obey the command from Jesus, to take up our crosses daily, and choose to surrender our lives before Christ so we can truly live in the abundant life He offers.
