I Left Four12 – What Really Happened?
When conflict, hurt and offence create distance between us and our leaders, it can feel like leaving is the only way forward. When John de Beer was removed from his leadership position, he walked away from his congregation, Four12, and ministry. But years later, God brought him back – why? In an honest conversation, Andrew Selley and John revisited the relational breakdown that led him to leave, the accusations that followed, and the conviction he felt over speaking against Andrew and the church. Here we see how reconciliation can begin with humble and vulnerable conversations, creating space for the Lord to bring healing, restoration, and renewed unity.
Andrew is the apostolic leader of Four12 (F12) and the lead elder of multisite, Joshua Generation Church. He has been in full-time ministry since 1996.
