The Bible says that “the people who know their God shall stand firm” (Daniel 11:32, ESV). One of our great and unique privileges as followers of Jesus, is that we don’t only learn about Him, we are invited to truly know Him. God calls us into a real relationship, through the sacrifice of His Son. The Apostle John had a close friendship with Jesus, being called ‘the disciple whom Jesus loved’ (John 21:20). In this message, Michael d’Offay unpacks three aspects of the Lord’s nature, according to John: He is Love, He is Light, and He is Life. When we embrace Jesus rightly, and journey with Him throughout our lives, we will see these aspects of Him reflected in us too. Here Michael reminds us again – it’s all about Jesus!

Michael d'Offay

Michael serves on eldership within Joshua Generation Church, South Africa. He married Adrienne in 1998, and they have three children together. Michael obtained a degree in theology and has been on full-time staff since 2005. He loves to teach, write, and train leaders.
