Church is Family
Churches are not meant to be preaching centres – God’s design for the church is family. Jesus sets this example for us – while teaching, He invited the children to come to Him and rebuked His disciples for hindering them (Matthew 19:13-14).
In this message, Andrew Selley unpacks baptism and baby dedication and how these paint a beautiful picture of God’s heart. He explains how God values children and family, no less than preaching His Word. He emphasises that today it should be no different; the modern church is meant to be a close-knit family, where we help one another in raising our children. Through Scripture and personal experiences, Andrew further explores what this looks like, calling each of us to live as the family of God.
