A River, Not a Reservoir

Building His Church

|

October, 2026

What if our churches became more than places to gather people – places where saints are formed, equipped, and sent? The church was created to be like a river, not a reservoir: a family that helps people grow, raises up leaders, and then sends them to bring Christ’s life to the nations. In this message, Andrew Selley challenges us to move beyond the consumer faith our culture has grown accustomed to and become a people equipped for ministry. Drawing on Ephesians 4:11–16, he reminds us that every Christian has a purpose and following Jesus is a call to lay down our lives. What might God be preparing you for next?
