As followers of Christ, we're called to worship God in a way that aligns with His design. When the Son of God is lifted up at the centre of our worship, we release a sound that is pleasing to Him. At the Cape Town Regional Equip Schalk van der Westhuizen draws from Psalm 84, which offers precious insight into worship that pleases God, from the lives and ministry of the sons of Korah. Their lives were a result of the mercy of God, and their service was a response to the mercy of God—they humbly served as doorkeepers in the Lord's house. This psalm reminds us that we worship Jesus as those whose lives are also marked by His mercy. We are called to cherish and honour Christ, our ultimate dwelling place.
