The Messenger | Cape Town
In the book of Timothy, Paul encourages him to practise his gift of teaching, not neglecting the gift that God has placed in him, and to keep a close watch on himself and his teaching (1 Timothy 4:14-16). Just so, those of us who feel called to preach and teach must develop our skills and become messengers worthy of the call. Here Michael d’Offay equips saints to become messengers God can use, unpacking the preparation needed to bring a message and how to communicate effectively. This time of equipping is valuable for any saint, not only elders, who want to grow in speaking before an audience to share God’s message.
Michael serves on eldership within Joshua Generation Church, South Africa. He married Adrienne in 1998, and they have three children together. Michael obtained a degree in theology and has been on full-time staff since 2005. He loves to teach, write, and train leaders.
