Will You Be Useful?
Every believer has a unique role to play in the body of Christ. In Colossians 4:17, the Apostle Paul urges Archippus to fulfil the ministry entrusted to him by the Lord. Ashley Gabriel points out that this call extends to all of us, at the Cape Town Regional Equip. Just as Archippus was called to serve, so are we—equipped with diverse gifts to advance God’s Kingdom. Our service is not for personal gain, but for the collective mission of discipling nations (Matthew 28:19). Let us embrace our God-given gifts, whether through encouragement, teaching, or hospitality, and recognise that every contribution matters in the building up the church.
Ashley serves on leadership within Four12 (F12) and is an elder in The Lighthouse Church, England. He is married to Rhianne and they have two children. Ashley is committed to raising leaders and desires to see God’s Kingdom advance through healthy, thriving churches.
