01 Leading Not Lording
What kind of leadership do we see Jesus modelling for us to follow? Russell Fraser teaches that biblical leadership does not aim to control people, but rather to point people towards Jesus, to help people grow into maturity and to never lord it over their own faith. Jesus would call us to walk in humility, patience, and repentance where we have been too heavy-handed, so that we may truly follow God’s design for leading His church.
Russell has been part of the Joshua Generation Church eldership team since 1999 and serves on Four12(F12) leadership. He has been married to Jenny since 1982, has three sons, and is a doting
grandfather. He loves the Word and is passionate about seeing people walk in freedom.
