03 What Motivates Your Heart?

Have you lost your joy? Many of us are exhausted for Jesus because we’re looking for recognition instead of living for His Kingdom. When we focus more on ourselves than on Christ, we lose our joy and freedom. Rick Neufeld reminds us that we don’t need a title to change the world – and even if God never gives us one, it should not extinguish the fire within us. As we put to death the misdeeds of our hearts, confess our sins, and live transparently so others may be led to Jesus, our prayer becomes the same as John the Baptist’s: “I must decrease, but He must increase.” (John 3:30, ESV)
