01 You've Got the Power

As His disciples, Jesus expects us to share the Gospel with other people. The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) is not an “optional extra”, but an instruction for which He will hold every believer to account. Our motivation for sharing the Good News, however, is not only because we “have to” but because we “want to”, out of gratefulness for what He has done for us. As born-again believers, we can count on the help and partnership of the Holy Spirit who works in both the speaker and receiver of the message. We are not alone – we have been given the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit to be soul–winners for Christ.
